Forever a soldier, joke heavy..pack light

Описание: Written in the summer of 2025 at camp. After performing at the Civic Tavern Downtown I attended a class at the laugh shop in Calgary Alberta taught by a legend of a comic Sam Norton the next day, just so happens that i won the lottery spot for the next week. Only one person gets the spot for attending class and this time it was my turn. I had packed up for the show and i normally pack as if i might end up staying for a couple as this business is so random that way. To me its just like being in the army again and packing your kit accordingly, everything that keeps you alive, clean and comfortable and enough gear to get in do what ya gota do and get out safe. Saw a lot of my friends that are comics in Calgary and i was able to catch another class with Sir Henry…… which i got to observe this guy as a person and comic. I love going to Calgary and doing my job, seems like everyone there is on board with helping everyone improve and it’s supportive… similar to how i found the atmosphere in BC. I wish i had this close to home. The host Faris Hytii was this hilarious guy i met back in Lethbridge, one of the most talented in this business i would say. I love this guys stuff so much and he is also a great supportive guy, always willing to help out and he obviously has some patients dealing with the likes of me. I only had a 5 min spot, which I expected at a big club like that and i made it work.
I want to thank you all for tuning in, if you do see me out on the road, we need resources and im not afraid to ask. I need work while im injured and waiting (over two years) for Hip replacement in a country that doesn’t care any longer for its citizens. I need work and i have a long list of skills, we need gasoline to travel and keep doing shows and food, or gift cards, anything we can use at a grocery store. I need a fishing tent to store water from freezing. That and your support as a Fan to keep on going.
