How to fix a cracked footpocket on a monofin (without cutting your silicone mermaid tail open)

Описание: HOW TO FIX A CRACKED FOOTPOCKET ON A MONOFIN (WITHOUT CUTTING YOUR SILICONE MERMAID TAIL OPEN) - After nearly eight years of use, the FINIS Rapid monofin inside of one of my MerNation silicone mermaid tails developed a large crack on the top right footpocket. Because this silicone mermaid tail is too old to open up, since the silicone no longer adheres to silpoxy glue, I had to get creative with fixing the monofin. So here is a video tutorial showing you what I did to repair the monofin foot pocket inside of my beloved Sparda mermaid tail. I hope you will find it helpful!

**Note 2: Consider adding a layer of powermesh to the areas above and under the crack for extra support.

Please keep in mind that, while this will extend the life of your monofin, the monofin will never be as strong as it was prior to the damage that was done. I recommend being gentle with your old silicone mermaid tail and damaged monofin to avoid breaking the glue and worsening the crack. Please check your monofin before and after each swim to see if extra reinforcement is needed prior to swimming. If your monofin does not seem safe to use anymore, please discontinue use to preserve your own safety.
