Celebrated violinist and President of the Beethoven-Haus Bonn, Daniel Hope, presents our Beethoven - The New Complete Edition. DG celebrates the 250th birthday of the great composer in 2020. The centerpiece of the #Beethoven2020 #PlayOn campaign is 'Beethoven – The New Complete Edition'. This 123-disc limited & numbered edition has been created in partnership with the Beethoven-Haus Bonn and compiled in collaboration with Decca and ten other labels. This new collection represents the most up-to-date and comprehensive anthology of Beethoven’s music ever recorded by some of the world’s greatest performers. It includes a number of world premiere recordings, including the last musical thought Beethoven wrote before his death. Already available for pre-order, the edition is set for international release on November 1.
