Many People are landing lots of fish today.Just my wife and I landed 7 to 8 Halibuts ,some Mackerels,Bass and lots od Smelts for bait.It's very fun and awesome day fishing with my wife and lots of friends.
All of the usual bay species can be caught from the pier, including but not limited to; barred sand bass, spotted bay bass, calico bass, halibut, sharks, bat rays, bonito, barracuda, croaker (several species), mackerel, shovelnose guitarfish and much more.
There are no fees or permits required and a California Sport Fishing License is not required while fishing from the pier. However, California Department of Fish and Wildlife does enforce state fishing regulations.
