Michael shows us in his video how to make the potato dumplings "half a half" (they are also called furry dumplings). These dumplings are his favorite because they are fluffy, very tasty and it is not hard to make them.
For 4 people you will need the following ingredients:
1 kg of potatoes
1 egg
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of starch
Grated nutmeg
Divide the potatoes into two halves. Peel and cook one half of the potatoes in the water. Let them cool down. Then crush the potatoes.
Peel and grate the remaining raw potatoes gently, squeezing the water out of the potatoes with a cloth. Now mix all the ingredients and make round dumplings. It helps when you oil your hands a bit so the dumpling does not stick to your hands. Dumplings should be about 5 cm in diameter.
Add the dumpling to boiling water, then lower the boiling water immediately and let them simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
