This L.P. version is extremely hard to find, and when you do, it costs quite a bit for the record. If you find it on a CD, it's much more affordable. From what I've gathered, the master tape of the full length version doesn't exist anymore, so all the long versions of this song is from a record transfer. The record transfer had some scratches and one very bad and off-time edit. I decided to "fix" the bad edit so it was back on time, get rid of some of the "snap, crackle, and pops", added some compression and a limiter, then call it good. The single version, which is the same song just edited down to 3:08, is a clean transfer from a master tape. It's a song I've always liked, from the conception down to the recording & performance. The song was originally released in 1962.
