Part 4 of my attempt to restore a 1997 Honda Fireblade CBR900RR-V. The motorbike has not been started in 3 years and has been off the road since 2016. I also believe it housed a family of rodents at some point…
In this episode we remove and replace the front calipers, put back the re-conditioned forks, change the rear light, remove the rear caliper, and put back the wheel and front mudgaurd.
This is my first blade and a kind of dream since I was a kid (now I’m a big kid).
On inspection it has:
Rusty Tank
Fork Seals gone
Missing Fuel Tap
Seized rear brake
Non functioning front brakes (well, they work a little)
Scored disks
Lots of rust
Needs new throttle and clutch cables
