This is my replica 1:1 scale probe droid build project. I have wanted one for over 40 years. Such a wonderful design. Earlier this year my friend Dave Moog completed this remarkable, highly detailed, 3D printable version, which can be found on his Etsy store (Droid Division).
I still have to print the legs and work out the mechanics, but I am extremely happy with the result so far. Special thanks to Jason Eaton and Lorne Peterson for the paint information.
I will do a proper build video of the finished project later this year.
