Originally grown in the north eastern part of Italy, Friuli-Venezia was nearly wiped out by the twin disasters of powdery mildew and phylloxera that nearly destroyed most of Italy's vines.
Andis Wines is one of two vineyards in California that grow and produce an estate single varietal of Schioppettino. Not usually featured on our tasting menu, due to limited production, you have to ask for it by name, if you can!
