On this episode, I change the water pump impeller and the fuel filters to Tyrsky's 1975 Ford 2712E industrial diesel engine. It did not go exactly as planned, but finally I got it done.
I am not a mechanic but these few skills and basic understanding of the principals of a diesel engine are quite important to every boat owner, especially if one does not have a deep enough pockets to pay for a professional for the engine maintenance and small repairs.
Tyrsky is an old finnish wooden boat, made in the early '70s. This vlog is about boating in the lake Saimaa and living with a wooden boat. Sometimes also useful tips and opinions you are free to disagree with.
