Here are the key findings from the third annual report produced by the VKPP (Vulnerability Knowledge and Practice Programme) part of the NCVPP (National Centre for violence against women and girls and public protection) It gives a refreshed insight and analysis into the scale and nature of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), trends in offending, including crime types, and presents profiles of both victims and perpetrators.
If a child is in immediate danger, call 999.
To report child sexual abuse or exploitation, visit a police station or call 101, Crimestoppers or your local children’s social care team.
For help and support from many organisations, or information on disclosure, visit whenyouareready.co.uk
Support is also available through the NSPCC Helpline and Childline.
