Former finance minister Hafeez Pasha has warned that if crude oil prices cross $100–$120, Pakistan’s GDP could suffer a major blow, and inflation could surge up to 30%.

Essential commodities like flour, rice, and pulses have become more expensive, making life difficult for common citizens. Supply chain disruptions and border tensions, including issues with Afghanistan, have further worsened the situation.
