Backcountry skiing in Vermont is not always about destination. It's about the quest. This is the tale of what became known as, the Fellowship of the Peak.

Part of the day was spent analyzing snowpack to ensure the route and steeps were safe for skiing. The MWAC reports on Mount Washington indicated high avalanche probability after yesterdays storm, so we proceeded with caution, and ultimately decided the snowpack was stable enough to go.
