Reading and spelling are not about memorising words. They are learnt skills that grow step by step to support your child’s foundation. At TLA, we focus on the process of decoding (reading) and encoding (spelling), because they work hand in hand together.

Here’s how we build it:
🔹 Hearing sounds in words (phonemic awareness)
🔹 Matching letters to sounds (letter-sound recognition)
🔹 Breaking down longer words (phonological awareness)
🔹 Pointing and reading each word correctly (word-to-word correspondence)
