This is a brand-new way to rent a car! Halo.Car is a tech start up based in the 18B Arts District in downtown Las Vegas that offers car rental delivery to anywhere in the Las Vegas valley with a twist. The twist is that if you rent a car from downtown, you may get a driverless car rental delivery! These cars are not self-driving or autonomous, but rather they are operated by remote pilots at the business’ DTLV headquarters. Halo.car’s team of hardware and software engineers are constantly working to better the technology and expand their driverless radius with the hope to eventually make the feature available to the whole valley. With a fleet entirely made up of electric vehicles, or EV’s, halo.car is committed to doing what they can to protect the environment.
