वाराणसी में चंद्रग्रहण के कारण दशाश्वमेध घाट पर गंगोत्री सेवा समिति द्वारा दोपहर में ही गंगा आरती का आयोजन किया गया। ग्रहण के चलते मंदिरों में सन्नाटा छाया रहा। श्रीकाशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर के कपाट शाम 7.30 बजे बंद हो जाएंगे वहीं अन्नपूर्णा मंदिर भी करीब साढ़े सात बजे बंद होगा।

Due to the lunar eclipse in Varanasi, Ganga Aarti was organized by Gangotri Seva Samiti at Dashashwamedh Ghat in the afternoon. Due to the eclipse, there was silence in the temples. The doors of Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple will be closed at 7.30 pm, while the Annapurna temple will also be closed at around 7.30 pm.
