The Castle, the Island, the Bell and... Cake
In March of 2019, I had the wonderful experience of visiting Slovenia. I had three full days to receive a quick overview of this Central European country and I definitely have plans to return. This video is about Lake Bled which possesses a magical and romantic feel.
I did not stay in Bled, I stayed in Koper on the Slovenian coast which is about an hour and a half drive from Bled. Slovenia is an easy country to navigate so you can stay in one location and take excursions daily. Since I visited in early spring, the weather was still a bit chilly and on rainy days, cold. But the weather globally is a guessing game, so Slovenia is no exception. We spent a total of about two hours at the lake and you should allow more time if you would like to visit Bled Castle. Bled Castle is open every day of the week. Before you rush off, relax and enjoy the view with a piece of Bled Cream Cake from the Park Café https://www.sava-hotels-resorts.com/e.... After eating your dessert, make sure you sail over to Bled Island and make your ONE wish with the magical bell.
