Episode 5 of my East Sikkim ride continues as I leave the beautiful hills of Darjeeling and ride towards Kurseong.
This stretch is not just a road — it’s a feeling.
I stopped at the iconic Batasia Loop, where the toy train curves around the hills with Kanchenjunga standing silently in the background. From there, I chased the sunset riding beside the historic tracks of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway.
Golden light, misty hills, toy train tracks, and that peaceful mountain silence — this ride from Darjeeling to Kurseong felt unreal.
