Heavy snow in excess of 12in fell across the Wasatch Front including Salt Lake City, I-80 East of Salt Lake City through Parleys Canyon had chain and 4x4 restrictions for most of the morning on all vehicles. Alta Ski Resort also received plenty of snow with high winds causing cars to be buried by the new snowfall.
