Tan Rua waterfall is located in a picturesque area, surrounded by cliffs, tall trees, and vines.
The waterfall itself is not the best we have seen so far, but even during the dry season, a decent flow of water. On a good day, you can catch a powerful stream, the third largest after Namuang and Hin Lad.
A well-maintained hiking trail to this lovely waterfall, both a low & high route, easy to follow. The access road is quite steep at times. If you have your own motorbike this is a good little trip. But make sure you’re a semi-experienced driver as it’s easy to overheat breaks going down if you’re on a scooter.
A couple of people used the Zip Line while we were there and appeared to have fun. Nice spot overall. We really enjoyed our hiking time and enjoyed some drinks at the Tree House.
