We regularly visit Goathland for it's scenic surroundings, free to roam sheep the peacefulness and tranquility after the daily visitor's have departed.
Many will know Goathland better as being the setting for the hit TV series Heartbeat featuring Nick Berry as PC Nick Rowan, Niamh Cusack as Dr Kate Rowan, Bill Maynard as Claude Jeremiah Greengrass, Derek Fowlds as Oscar Blaketon, Tricia Penrose as Gina and David Lonsdale as David Stockwell to name but a few of the changing cast throughout it's varying episodes.
Goathland is well worse a visit. You will certainly get to meet few Sheep and Lambs - they may be stood in the middle of the road, so please drive with care. 🐑
