In this episode of Under 50K Houses - Renovai, we dive deep into a massive recovery project in the heart of the Tuscan Apennines. This detached house offers 110 square meters of living space and sits on 800 square meters of private land. While it’s currently uninhabitable, the potential for a holiday home or a permanent residence near the Sanctuary of La Verna is incredible.

What we are tackling in this project:

Exterior: Fixing rising damp with a professional drainage system to save the structure.

Energy Efficiency: Replacing old windows with high-efficiency triple glazing (budgeted at ~€350 per window).

Interior: Stripping damp plaster, redoing the plumbing to modern standards, and creating a luxury walk-in shower.

Garden: Turning 800m² of weeds and concrete into a Mediterranean oasis with a DIY terrace and pool area for just €2,500.
