Milwaukee neighbors are finding free groceries, open doors, and growing community at Gathering Table

Описание: Residents near Milwaukee’s 2nd and Clarke Streets are finding more than just free food at All Peoples Gathering Church—they’re finding community. Several days a week, tables inside and outside the church fill with fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and artisan bread through the church’s Gathering Table program.

The initiative is designed to address food insecurity while removing barriers that often prevent people from accessing healthy food. No registration is required, and anyone in need is welcome to take what they need at no cost. “We give out God's gift of grace for free for everyone, and every little bit of that feeds you as well,” said Pastor Evan McVann of All Peoples Gathering Church.
