Join us on our first-ever Disneyland adventure as we fly from London Heathrow with Virgin Atlantic to the happiest place on earth, Disneyland California! Our day kicks off by driving down to London Heathrow with a relaxing stay at the Hilton Garden Inn at Terminals 2 and 3, where we enjoyed a stunning rooftop bar with panoramic views of the airport. This bar is an AvGeeks dream! We stayed for sunset and watched all the lights over the airport turn on, we enjoy drinks and food here before heading to our hotel room which again has an amazing view.

From there it's time for our travel day! We head to the terminal to check in for our flight. We have some breakfast in the terminal before our gate is called to head straight into the heart of California excitement! We are flying with Virgin Atlantic in their premium section. We really enjoy the service, food and staff and love flying with Virgin. Once we land in LA we take a taxi to our hotel which is the Sheraton Park Hotel in Anaheim – the perfect base for exploring Disneyland’s thrills and enchanting surprises.

After we check in and freshen up we decided to head to Downtown Disney for some food and to try out the walk to the main gates of Disneyland. The walk took around 10-15minutes. We have a really nice Mexican meal at Paseo although there was a little interruption from a fire alarm! We then head back to the room to get a good nights sleep ready for our first day ever in Disneyland Park!
