Induction heating simulation - Nickel based alloy heating - SIMHEAT®

Описание: A Nickel based alloy component is partly heated by induction. Subsequent forming stages are carried out on this heated area only. The part is placed into a 8 helical turn coil. The resulting temperature distribution while not symmetrical is accurately calculated, which is illustrated in the left-hand-side video above.
In addition to temperature, grain growth during heating is calculated in the same example (right-hand-side video above). Subsequent forming process simulations will benefit from accurate temperature and grain size initial distribution.
