Apple Butter Recipe:
5.5 lbs apples (I used Honey Crisp), cored, and sliced
1 3/4 cups brown sugar
2 Tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
3 tablespoons vanilla
Mix all together in a big pot. Simmer on low for 8-10 hours (I let mine sit after this, covered overnight with the stove turned off). Spoon the cooked apples into a blender, and puree until smooth. Pour into jars, and can. Or eat it all fresh because it's SO delicious! 😉

I determined that the pie twist needs some tweaking before sharing the recipe after all it's little funks, but here is the sourdough pie crust recipe if you want to experiment with it!
