Cover #72. 'Spiders' is one of those tunes I used to listen to A LOT as a kid. Been considering covering this one every time I'm about to do a SoaD cover, and now it's time for the nostalgia trip. I decided to keep the intro as it really sets up the song and gets you in the right mood, and it's always a bit rude to cut out parts of songs, especially where there's lyrics.

This is the very first time I record with the new cymbal setup, and I'm insanely stoked. Now, having played my previous setup for at least 10 years without any bigger changes, of course it'll take me some time to get as familiar with these new colleagues. How to play them, how to record them, how to mix them.. It'll take a while to get to know them! But they just feel, sound and look so INSANELY nice! Looking forward to spend a lot of quality time with them.
