World of Horror is a roguelike horror game made entirely in MS Paint by a Polish dentist over seven years. It looks like it was built on an etch-a-sketch. It is also one of the most unsettling games I have ever played.
Set in a dying Japanese coastal town in the 1980s, you play as one of fourteen civilians trying to hold back the end of the world - armed with a steak knife, a broken bottle, and a doom counter that never stops climbing.
The Old Gods don't know you exist. The town was already doomed before you arrived. The game just expects you to keep moving anyway.
