GP 58CR Firmware Update

Описание: As of January 1, 2022, there was a global firmware bug discovered in all versions of firmware originating prior to 2017. Any older printers may be effected and should be updated when possible. This can be thought of as our own type of Y2K bug, as each printer has an internal calendar. Firmware versions prior to 2017, end on 12/31/2021. When the date clicks over to 1/1/2022, the entry doesn't exist, which leads to issues with configuration, such as incorrect multiplier or decimal settings.

The following video goes though the steps of updating your GP-58CR with a programmer which has already been preloaded with the update. If you recently purchased your printer from us directly out of our California office, this has been done for you already. If you're using a programmer from another source such as our distributor network, or you already have one of these programmers, then you would need to contact our technical department directly, so we can send out the firmware files for update.
