About the Concert:
Quieter Than Silence is a project by the Roots Revival Cultural Association (Vienna) — a collaboration between musicians from Iran, Syria, and France exploring the space between silence, sound, and shared human experience. Their music blends Persian Dastgah, Arabic maqam, and Western improvisation into a contemplative and borderless sound.

Dedicated to those displaced by conflict and migration, Quieter Than Silence is both a reflection on silence and a protest against the noise of modern life — a call for listening and empathy.

About Lithica Festival:
Held annually at the Pedreres de s’Hostal — the restored sandstone quarries of Ciutadella, Menorca — the Lithica Festival brings together music, art, and performance in dialogue with nature and stone. The setting’s remarkable acoustics and labyrinthine landscape create a unique environment for immersive, reflective performances like Roots Revival’s Quieter Than Silence.
