STORYLINE:
Louis Vuitton on Thursday unveiled the official trunk in which the World Cup Trophy is to be presented at the final ceremony to be held on Sunday.

The trophy was presented to media at the fashion house’s Manhattan store, encased in an iconic Louis Vuitton brown patterned case with a hand-painted gold-colored FIFA logo on the exterior.

The trunk's front panel is emblazoned with a gold-colored hand-painted “V,” for victory, or “Vuitton,” according to the brand, and adorned with gold-plated locks and corner protectors. Special edition FIFA trunks will also be available for sale.

According to FIFA, the trunk will be brought onto the pitch during the final ceremony on Sunday.
