In this lecture, I take you through the second plateau in "A Thousand Plateaus" where Deleuze and Guattari lay down their key critiques of Psychoanalysis, especially in its Freudian form, much of which is present in Anti-Oedipus, although there are certainly novel additions here. They also lay down their notion of the assemblage and its constituents: multiplicities, intensities, and thresholds. This builds upon much of what was present in the introductory plateau ("Introduction: Rhizome") and provides a path for creative and explosive action. This runs contra Baudrillard, who laments the terror of the model, whereas I pose Deleuze and Guattari's position against Baudrillard's to show how they approach the imposition of binaries and structural totalities. Enjoy!
