Adding details to a terrain generated with JangaFX GeoGen is amazing, and you can learn everything following our free bootstrap course !
In this 2nd lesson we are moving forward adding details with a deeper setup on warps to change canyon shape using different warps mixed together using masks.
We are going to mix different heightmaps too, details on slopes, altitude based masks, nested masks, everything to add artistic control over terrain shaping. Then we'll introduce filters, a new kind of node able to add erosion, rain simulation, sediments, rock crumbling etc etc.
In this video we are tweaking just some parameters on Thermal/Fluvial Erosion and Rock Crumbling to add thermal erosion on mountain slope, fluvial erosion on the canyon ground and rock/debris falling effect.
In next video we'll see more in depth the filters parameters to understand better how to use it one by one and then we'll export everything to Unreal.
