One of the planets in our solar system now looks completely different because of a rare event that's currently taking place. Yep, over the weekend, Saturn's famous rings, made up of chunks of ice and asteroid particles, officially vanished. Spoiler alert, the rings are still there. This is actually just one big "cosmic illusion" that'll only last a couple of days, and it all has to do with how Earth and Saturn are aligned at this very moment. Let's pretend this piece of paper represents the rings of Saturn. Now, the rings, despite being over 270,000 kays in length, are only around 10 metres thick! So when they tilt a certain way, they become so thin they're almost invisible! And that's exactly what's happening up there right now! It's a big phenomenon called a "ring plane crossing" and it's pretty rare. It takes 29.4 years for Saturn to orbit the sun, and a ring plane crossing only happens twice during that time! So the next proper one won't be until 2038! But unfortunately, this one's not easy to look at, because Saturn is actually really close to the sun right now. So maybe leave the viewing to the experts.

POPE LEAVES HOSPITAL
Pope Francis has finally been given the thumbs up to leave hospital! The Pope's been battling sickness for the past few weeks, but looks to finally be on the mend. Before heading home, he made his first public appearance in more than a month, giving the crowd waiting outside the hospital a wave and a thumbs up.

FORMULA 1
Aussie Oscar Piastri scored a big win in Formula 1 over the weekend! After a tense opening to the race in Shanghai, Piastri pulled off what some are calling a flawless performance, claiming the 3rd major win of his career and helping his team McLaren to the top of the table.

NBL
The Illawarra Hawks have taken home just their second NBL title in 47 years after defeating Melbourne United by 10 points! The NBL finals are decided by a best of 5 series, and with the series tied at 2-2, everything was on the line in game 5, and it was the Hawks who came out on top Melbourne's Matthew Delleavedova was awarded the Most Valuable Player, but after accepting the award, he decided his opponent Will Hickey deserved it more. Now that's some good sportsmanship.

INDOOR ATHLETICS
And finally, Australia has just had its most successful world indoor athletics championships ever! One of the big highlights of the tournament was Aussies Nicola Olyslagers and Eleanor Patterson taking out 1st and 2nd in High Jump. In the end the Australia finished 2nd on the medal tally, with a total of 7! How good!

SHARKTOPUS
First up, to the moment a team of researchers captured an octopus hitching a ride on a shark. The video's been going viral after it was published by the University of Auckland, which is currently studying ocean feeding frenzies. Although this particular discovery has left them scratching their heads.

EARTH HOUR
Now to the moment lights around the world went out. Each year, everything from famous monuments to apartment blocks switch off on the last Saturday of March to mark Earth Hour. Earth hour started back in 2007 to encourage people to think more about ways they can help the environment.

PET SHELTER
And finally, to an animal shelter in the US offering some pretty unique dog breeds. Adrian here runs a popular TikTok page, giving dogs made up breed names to help them get the attention they need to get adopted. And the best part is it seems to be working.
