Описание:
LMS "Black 5" 44871 & Jubilee 45699 "Galetea" are seen powering away from Wigan and through Hindley whilst working the "Tin Bath" railtour from Blackburn to Sheffield.
This was a new location for me, between Ince and Hindley stations but shows the steamers working hard to get up the bank. The sunlight was a bit of a pain but silhouettes the train nicely. The tour was running over 30 minutes late by this point but it helped by getting the sun a little higher.
The official working was
1Z45 Preston - Sheffield
and featured three locomotives with 44871 & 45699 on the front with 47760 on the rear for ETH and assistance - though it's clearly not doing any assisting here ;)
