Intelligent Electric Fence with Intrusion Detection, mmWave Radar, Metal Sensing & Solar Power

Описание: This project presents a next-generation electric fence security system that combines intelligent intrusion detection with energy optimization.

The prototype uses an ultrasonic sensor on a servo motor scanning in a radar-like motion. When an object approaches within 10 cm, the buzzer and relay are activated to alert the operator. A vibration sensor detects tampering or cutting attempts and triggers an LED warning signal for instant alerts.

For future development, the system will integrate:

mmWave radar sensors for accurate long-range intrusion detection, even for moving objects or metal tools.

Metal detection technology to differentiate between human presence and intrusion tools like cutters or pliers.

Range-based energizer control – the energizer will remain off under normal conditions to save power, and only the affected region will be energized when a threat enters the danger zone, ensuring safety and power efficiency.

Solar-powered microcontroller and sensors with EB supply as backup, enabling 24/7 uninterrupted operation.


With region-wise monitoring, only the targeted section of the fence gets activated, lowering energy usage and maintenance costs while providing intelligent, automated protection.
