Study Abroad student Julia Fernandes speaks about her time studying in El Salvador. As a Women's Studies major she gained a unique, first-hand experience in Latin American women's studies and local issues. She also learned to speak Spanish and new cuisine. She was able to secure work experience as well giving her resume an added dimension of internationalism.
