Would you want to become a mobility company? 🔮🚕
In 10 years, I believe autonomous mobility platforms that enable anyone to become a mobility provider, have emerged and started to disrupt how we move around in society.
In the digital world, big tech companies have enabled" anyone to become X" — like a TV-channel on Youtube, advertiser on Instagram, or journalist on Twitter (X). But in the world of mobility, such platform has not been built. Yet.
Autonomous driving will enable such platform. In fact, Tesla has already said that they wish to become a mix of Uber and AirBnB, and brought in one of the founders of AirBnB into the board of Tesla (a couple of years ago).
Tesla want to sell a product, their upcoming robotaxi, to their customers, so that they can earn a passive income.
Helping customers earn a profit as been explosive stuff in the purely digital world, and this will likely be true in the physical world as well.
🔮 Bottom line? = Mobility is going "peer-to-peer", enabled by autonomy
