The Carpathian mountains have a temper. One day, everything is buried under heavy snow — the paths, the yard, the river bank. And then, without warning, the snow melts overnight. The mountains breathe. The river appears again.
Maria knows these windows don't last. When the snow pulls back for a day, she grabs her pot, her tripod, and heads down to the mountain stream — just 100 meters from her home. Her dog follows.
She builds a fire on the riverbank and cooks breakfast the old way — over open flames, with river water, surrounded by nothing but bare trees and the sound of rushing water.
Tomorrow the snow may return. But today — today she cooks outside.
No narration. No music. Just the sounds of fire, water, and a quiet mountain morning.
