A daytime walk from Brighton to Lewes on the "Juggs Road", an old track crossing the South Downs, traditionally used by fishwives to carry fish from the harbour at Brighton to market at Lewes.
I stop along the way in some woodland to cook lunch - fake steak with peppercorns on a bed of polenta and broad beans. I haven't seen much polenta in outdoors videos but I think (the quick cook stuff at least) is quite a practical idea. Brought a long a particularly Floyd-esque Gevrey Chambertin to have with it.
Also fit in a couple of pub visits - The Juggs in Kingston near Lewes and the Lewes Arms in Lewes.
