"Kate wasn't angry about the interview, she was intentionally playing along with it (i.e. she and Liz talked about it ahead of time). No, Liz wasn't drinking, and yes, Kate was cool with being called Shane the whole time - that was the point of the interview. It wasn't supposed to be a real, in-depth interview, it was supposed to be commentary on how everyone always confuses Kate with Shane.
