BIODATA:

1- Carlos Daniel Cazco Maldonado holds a specialization in Teaching English as a Second Language, a Master’s in Business Administration, a Master’s in Education, a Master’s in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), and he is a Ph.D. Candidate in Education in the Universidad del Rosario in Argentina.

He has been working as an English teacher, academic Consultant, Academic Administrator, and Director for different National Universities, International Institutions, and Language Institutes. He has organized and participated as a presenter in National and International Language Conferences and he has written some articles published in national and international journals.

He has always been interested in research fields in Critical Thinking, Education, Language Proficiency, Professional Development, and others refer to English Language Communication. He currently works as Professor in the Universidad Nacional de Education in the English Major and it is the President of ECUATESOL the Ecuadorian Association of Teachers of English to Speakers of other Languages.

2- HAZEL ACOSTA:
Education university professor and specialist in development research with more than 17 years of experience teaching at the college level.

Outstanding record in getting external funds for
professional development programs.

Knowledgeable and experienced in pedagogy and educational research approaches ELT.

Committed collaborator to university outreach and social extension through training and community projects.

3- Martha Lucía Lara Freire
She is a dedicated educator and researcher who has seamlessly integrated her passion for teaching English with her commitment to educational transformation.

With 13 years of experience in higher education, she currently serves as a teacher-researcher in the Pedagogy of National and Foreign Languages career at the National University of Education in Cañar Province.

Her academic contributions include publications in Latindex-indexed journals, leadership in research and community outreach projects, and active participation in national and international conferences, such as WEFLA 2016 and TESOL 2024. Through her work, she continues to drive innovation in language education and research.

4- Evelyn Almeida holds a degree in Applied Linguistics to the English Language and a degree in Commercial Engineering from the Escuela Politécnica del Ejército.

She earned a Master's in Educational Management and Leadership from the Universidad Particular de Loja and a Master's in Linguistics and Foreign Language Teaching Methodology from the Universidad Central del Ecuador.

Evelyn Almeida has a PhD in Language, Literacy, and Sociocultural Studies from the University of New Mexico, USA. In recent years, she has been teaching at two prestigious universities in Quito: the Universidad Central del Ecuador and the Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas ESPE.

She is the editor in Chief of the journal Kronos The Language Teaching Journal. Her areas of expertise include teaching English as a foreign language, learning assessment, qualitative educational research, and sociocultural studies, fields in which she has significant academic training, professional experience, and personal interest.
