Travis County DWI Pre-Trial Diversion Acceptance [FOR CLIENTS]

Good news! You have been accepted into the Travis County Pre-Trial Diversion Program.

The basic requirements are:

1. You are not allowed to drink alcohol during the program.
2. The PTD program is for 1 year - however, if you have completed everything in 6 months, you may be discharged.
3. You must have an Ignition Interlock Device (IID) in your car for 6 months (with no violations). You must pay for this (approx. $90/month). We recommend Smart Start.
4. You must complete all the classes recommended in your CES Evaluation.
5. You must complete 25 hours of community service.
