In this brief video, we cover the issue of securing the landing gear after deploying the emergency gear down procedure. This topic is not covered in the service manual and is often cause for confusion. It’s simple once you figure it out! There is a lot more to a landing gear “swing” and emergency extension tests, but we did t have the patience or time to film all of that for you.
I’m not having the debate about what other people think about performing this procedure. Ive had comments about “being gentle. You don’t see a lot of what else have. There are personnel on each wheel holding them, and observing. To comment or message me about how you think I am doing something wrong, save your time.
