Self Stick and Poke ~ One Pass Handpoke Tattoo ~ Avatar Cicada I

Lots of people say you should go to a professional for all your tattoos. There are many reasons, sanitation, understanding of design, etc. but home tattoos will happen, so I am here to share my personal journey, stick-n-poke process and tattooing experience with the rest of YouTube.

Today I'm starting a piece for my favorite band, the Swedish melodic death metal group Avatar. I just saw them a couple weeks ago at the Wiltern in Los Angeles and wanted to commemorate that amazing show- I also have a Johannes Eckerström character / costume I put together, so, yeah, this metal band means a lot to me.

For the cicada, I used:
2 1209RLB-T (Beyond brand)
2 1205RLB-T (Also Beyond brand)

Xtreme Brand Advanced Tattoo Ink, Ferrari Red
Dragon's Blood Tattoo Butter
Green Soap Tincture 1:1 with distilled water
Bounty brand paper towels

*I said in the video I used Dynamic, but nope, this was Intenze True for the cicada. I also said I don't like Intenze, I was also incorrect, I meant Eternal Neutral Gray Set.*
