Indian Classical Music has its rich heritage of thousands of years. The only thing it lacks is less preservation. From last two centuries some documents could have been archived through old texts and some records too. But Indian Classical Music can not be preserved only through record or text preservation. The numerous anecdotes which ahs been carried through Guru Shishya parampara, or through a varied listening, or through learning, must be saved for our future generation in a digital platform.
Kolkatasaga has been collecting and preserving these gems, to recall those golden words through baithaki addas.
This is the second part of Pt Anindya Banerjee's breathtaking reminiscences on his Guru, Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. The last season of this adda has already made a mark to many in just one week.
