In an interview with Christiane Amanpour on CNN, UN humanitarian chief Martin Griffiths discussed the challenges of delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza. Griffiths stated, “It’s not a matter of the number of trucks that can get in,” referring to various obstacles such as unreliable “deconfliction of access routes” and civilians being forced to move “from one place of insecurity to another place of insecurity.”
