As news of multiple tragic incidents this week of domestic violence that led to the loss of innocent life continues to spread in our community, many are left with anger, pain, and a feeling of helplessness.
Join Muslim Women's Alliance for a national healing circle in collaboration with Maristan, The Rahmah Foundation and NISA - North American Islamic Shelter for the Abused.
Noor Raheemullah Hasan, Executive Director of MWA facilitated the discussion with Dr. Rania Awaad, Director of Maristan and Stanford Muslim Mental Health & Islamic Psychology Lab, Ust. Hosai Mojaddidi, educator and co-founder of Mental Health 4 Muslims, and Saha Jamshed, LCSW, where they will break the silence and address the ongoing problems of domestic violence, divorce stigmas, and mental health crises in the Muslim community.
