Senators James Lankford and Markwayne Mullin have officially turned their backs on 951 combat-injured Oklahoma veterans. While both senators claim to be men of principle and supporters of the military, they are allowing the federal government to steal approximately 1.1 million dollars every single month from their own constituents through the "Wounded Veteran Tax."

This isn't a handout; it is the earned retirement pay these heroes bought and paid for with their blood, only to have it snatched back by a dollar-for-dollar offset. For many Oklahoma veterans, this legal theft amounts to over 47,000 dollars a year in stolen income.

The Economic Impact of Silence
Total Annual Loss: Over 13.7 million dollars blocked from entering the Oklahoma economy every year.

The Cost to Families: Combat-injured families are seeing their retirement pocketed by the government while their representatives remain silent.

The Complicity: Every day Senators Lankford and Mullin refuse to cosponsor the Major Richard Star Act, they remain complicit in this injustice.
