This is the area of Santo Domingo where I spent most of my life before moving to the United States. The is a large population of Dominicans living in this area. You can find everything you need on this side of town. If you are looking for a typical Dominican neighborhood to live in there are some decent areas here. Also, rent can be much cheaper here over other areas of Santo Domingo. Enjoy the ride!
